Spartacus MM. My daughter!
My daughter! Born 21st April after 36 hours of effort on my part, Steve's part and several midwives' parts. It has been an eventful week and she and I only got home from the hospital yesterday. She is wonderful. More to follow...
Massive congratulations!

ReplyDeleteShe's absolutely beautiful...huge congrats...can't wait to hear more and to join you in motherhood :) Ps. I first read your post in blog login and it didn't show Spartacus crossed out so I had a brief what the heck moment :)
ReplyDeleteAwww! She's so beautiful and Matilda is such a lovely name! I'm glad you're all fine and can't wait to hear more x
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful and I absolutely love her name. Congratulations you two! Soak up these moments and all the other cliche things :)

ReplyDeleteHa! I had no choice and they've all blurred into two or three hours in my head. Steve, on the other hand, was definitely a hero.

ReplyDeleteThanks! :-D
ReplyDeleteSo much to process - she has some interesting looking dreams!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's actually just... uh... gunk - the hospital doesn't bath babies for the first week because the vernix etc is so good for their skin.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Looking forward to your own announcement soon. x
ReplyDeleteHa! Feedly was doing the same - I quite like that everyone had a moment of thinking I'd taken the Spartacus joke too far. Can't wait to hear about YOUR baby, too!
ReplyDeleteHa! She's not shy about making her feelings known.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The cats are taking it much better than expected. x
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteMassive thanks right back at you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! She's so darling. And those cheeks?!
ReplyDeleteThose cheeks... that frowny little face.... oh my gosh, I am so not a baby person but you have made a good one Ms Rooftops! I am SO happy for you and Steve, congratulations to both of you xx
ReplyDeleteMakes sense! They told us to keep the vernix bits in her leg folds. The human body is so interesting!!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, congrats! :) beautiful X
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! Glad things went well, but 36 hours? Yikes! I can't even imagine what that must have been like (for all involved).
ReplyDeleteLong time reader here, but I am commenting for the first time; Congratulations both to you and Matilda :)
