#WBabyWT - A Week of Outfits

#WBabyWT - A Week of Outfits from George at Asda (Monday)

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you will have seen a lot of baby clothes last week (and you're about to see them all again).

George at Asda had very kindly sent Matilda a week's worth of outfits which we shared online with the #WBabyWT (What Baby Wore Today) tag.

Here's what we chose:

The only thing which didn't get worn was the spotty shorts. Because it was a very cold start to the week, we added one pair of (George at Asda) tights on Monday and one plain white bodysuit on Wednesday but, otherwise, we managed to get seven outfits out of this and all for less than £40!

We had had a few George at Asda hand-me-downs from Matilda's cousin so we knew the clothes would be decent but I was still very pleased with the quality and fit of all of the outfits. In particular, I had been a bit dubious about the white leggings but they were thick enough that her garish undergarments barely showed through.

My only gripe with George at Asda clothes is that they tend to be gender specific. I had intended to choose a couple of items from the boys' section to reflect the rest of Matilda's wardrobe (which has a lot of "boy" and unisex clothes in it) but it wasn't really an option. There's also more pink here than I would usually choose. However I was pleased with all seven outfits and particularly taken with Monday's flowery dress and Thursday's jeans and stripy top.

Here's what Matilda wore:

Monday (see top of post): A cosy dress and woolly tights to run errands on a dreich, miserable day.
