Edinburgh: Part One (Miscellaneous)

This weekend, Steve and I headed to Edinburgh to visit friends and family members. It was a wonderful weekend but there are so many photos I've decided to split them up into a few posts over the next couple of weeks.

Part one: Saturday morning

While Steve headed off to the museum, I met up with my friend Kirsten for a trawl around the vintage shops. Neither of us bought a single thing. At first, we were disappointed; later, we decided this just shows how mature and discerning we are. Or something along those lines.

  3. Beautiful! This makes me (even more than I already did) want to visit Scotland.  Supposedly we have family there (in Castle Douglas, assuming it's still called that).

  5. It is - it's a small town not far from the border with England. I don't think I've ever been there, though, but it's a really pretty part of the country. Actually, that was a superfluous statement - the whole country's pretty. You should visit. *nods*

  9. I'm super late on this but that's wicked cool! I'd love to visit and meet any family we have still there.  Supposedly my great-grandfather was a judge there, curly wig and all!
